We’ve seen Dynamic Forms for Custom Objects, but the moment we have all been waiting for has arrived. Dynamic Forms is now available on more object record pages, such as Accounts, Person Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities.
There is flexibility in creating page layouts that display the correct information with Dynamic forms, at the right time, to the intended audience. It also improves page load times and removes the need to have multiple page layouts.
This feature was first released in Beta during the Summer ’22 release but is now generally available as of Winter ’23. A custom address field works in the same way as the standard address field, giving improved address data accuracy and an improved user experience.
Note: Before you enable this feature, I would review the Limitations and Requirements involved here.
In the Winter ’23 release, you will be able to set assignment expiration dates and assign permissions that expire via permission sets and permission sets group. Once the expiration date hits, assigned users will lose permission.
Previously you had to assign permission to the user and remove it again once they had completed the task required. You can now set an expiration date so that the permission set expires itself.
Salesforce has introduced the new “To Do List” feature, which can improve Utility Bar. With this feature, Sales Engagement users can now see, sort, and organise their tasks from a single actionable view. Users can also apply labels to their tasks as a way of customising how they organise them.
Note: This feature is only available for Sales Engagement Users (aka High-Velocity Sales), which is included with Performance & Unlimited Editions or at an extra cost for Enterprise.
